We depart at 07:30 in the morning from Chalkida where with an intermediate stop for the necessary coffee, we will continue our journey to the beautiful Kalamata and the church of Panagia Ypapanti. The temple of Ypapanti is the metropolitan church of Kalamata and is located in the historic center of the city, under the Frankish Castle. The church was founded on January 25, 1860 and inaugurated on August 19, 1873. Kalamata celebrates the patron saint of the Lord on February 2. The Church of Ypapanti is a particularly characteristic building of the city. We will worship and then head to Kalamata. Kalamata is a colorful provincial town with Taygetos dominating the north and a beach that looks endless. There are many sides of the city and it's worth knowing. You will have free time for a walk for dinner and then early in the afternoon we will take the way back to HALKIDA with amazing images and memories.
