Petalioi Evia: The island with exotic beauty!

Petalioi is an island complex in the South Euboean Gulf and belongs to the Municipality of Karystos. The complex consists of 10 islets which are all uninhabited, but in the past they maintained a small population, in Megalonisos and Hersonissos which are the largest of the complex.

The total area of the complex is approximately 22.5 square kilometers and earlier, during the Turkish rule, they belonged to Omer Pasha of Karystos and housed his harem.
