Ioannina
 

1 Day

We depart at 07:00 from Chalkida with our established coffee stop for the beautiful Ioannina, after settling in at the hotel, we will head to a small paradise for history lovers. We will visit the Byzantine Castle of Ioannina, the Aslan Pasha Mosque, the Ottoman Library, the Tomb of Ali Pasha, the Fetihe Mosque and we will end up at Lake Pamvotis. Those who wish can take a mini cruise on the lake and visit the island of Mrs. Frosini or enjoy your coffee in one of the cafes on the lake. Free time for food and a walk in the city. Overnight

2 Days.

After breakfast we will head to Monodendri, a unique village with an incredible view. Its location is privileged, between the gorge of Vikos, the stone towers of Oxia and the slopes of Tymfi and Astraka. Its name is believed to have come from a very large fir tree that dominated the village until 1840.The architecture of the village seems to transport the visitor to another era, with the classic stone alleys, the stone-built houses and the impressive mansions. All made according to the style of the area and with the uniformity of the gray stone. Here we will visit the craft school and the Rizarios Exhibition Center, the house of the Rizari brothers that houses the primary school of the village, we will also visit the church of Agios Athanasios, the emblematic attraction in the square of Monodendri. Return to the hotel and Overnight.

3Day.
When we finish the check out and of course our breakfast we depart for the great Vrellis museum with the wax figures, which in life size and in a faithful representation, bring back to life heroes of our modern history. We will visit the famous clock clock and Metsovo. Then we will take the way back and we will head to the beautiful Metsovo that has managed to keep its traditional character stubbornly unchanged. As soon as we arrive in Metsovo, we will see what we call tradition since the settlement is built exactly like that. There is a harmony in houses and shops in the way they are built and this makes the settlement very picturesque. We will walk through the alleys and the square of Metsovo and have lunch in a shop in the village. Metsovo is also famous for its good food. we will continue our return and we will arrive early in the evening in Chalkida with traditional and unaltered images through the time !!!
