Ioannina, the capital of Epirus, grows around the magnificent Lake Pamvotis. The nature, climate and character of the city are defined by this aquatic "lady". The lake, with the still waters and the small island is a natural monument, around which the whole city lives and breathes.

EXCURSION PROGRAMM

Day 1: Chalkida -Kalambaka -Ioannina

We depart at 07:30 in the morning from Chalkida in the direction of Ioannina after making all the intermediate stops for coffee at the height of Domokos and Kalambaka. Then we will visit the Vrellis Museum with the life-size wax figures and in a faithful representation, 

reviving heroes of our modern history. Finally, arrival in Ioannina and arrangement at our 

hotel with free afternoon for a walk in the city for anyone who wishes. Overnight.

Day 2: Tsepelovo - Monodendri

Departure after breakfast and visit to central Zagori with its beautiful and picturesque villages. A very beautiful route leads us to the picturesque village of Tsepelovo, where it will be our first stop. Then we will visit Monodendri. Here we will have the opportunity to walk to the chapel of Agia Paraskevi and admire the unique spectacle offered by Vikos Gorge as well as enjoy local flavors or coffee in the beautiful square of the village. Return in the afternoon to Ioannina for a walk in the historic castle of the city which is the oldest Byzantine fortress in the Greek territory and today hosts residences and the Byzantine acropolis of Its Kale which offers panoramic views of the city and the lake, free time for a walk in the beautiful city and a visit to Nissaki. Late afternoon return to our hotel. Overnight.

Day 3: Metsovo - Chalkida

Breakfast and departure for the "alpine" Metsovo, built at an altitude of 1150m with traditional architecture and sights famous for its healthy climate, traditional architecture and famous local products. Stay for lunch in one of the many taverns in the area and then we will take the way back with an intermediate stop on the way. Arrival in Chalkida late at night.
